back at work today. weird. I miss everyone. and stuff isnt quite working right here. but only a few days left for this year. and my boss rocks.
as a daily bus rider, I find this feature kinda cool (although mostly unnecessary): http://188.8.131.52/bustime/map/displaymap.jsp
the Red Mountain Christmas album is really good. nice acoustic-ish arrangements of Christ-centered Christmas songs (I must be getting old, as “secular” Christmas music is getting on my nerves already). and it’s a good deal at $8.50.
the old compy died…long live the new compy! it arrived today and hopefully we’ll be up and running tonight. please Vista, be nice to us, and we’ll be nice to you. now to figure out how to replace or live without all that (expensive) software we had on the old machine. oh and don’t believe Dell if they tell you it’ll take a month to ship your computer. might take a week. weird.
we’re looking forward to our Christmas Eve service next week. not only will I be helping with a reading, but I’ll also be debuting my “Shepherd’s Song” along with a good amount of help, and to top it off, Selah will be playing the part of baby Jesus, which makes us Joseph and Mary (and a Caleb a shepherd and Alice an angel). should be good.
and finally, Selah will be baptized on December 28, and Grandpa T will be doing the honors again. we’re very much looking forward to it.
