I got 2 large books for my birthday. one is a new study Bible…the rather large and impressive new ESV study Bible, to be precise. I’m looking forward to getting into it, and it’s provided a handy excuse to read through stuff with the kids (not that we need an “excuse” but with little kids sometimes it helps). and it’s a good balance for my new found affection for the Message. thanks mom and dad T!
I also received Songwriters on Songwriting, which is a large collection of interviews with some of the best songwriters of our culture. the many artists include Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Neil Young, etc. and the interviews so far are great. as a dabbling songwriter, it should be a good source of inspiration. thanks huns!
