here’s our spider man and princess pea…they had a blast! here’s a recap from mama:
The kids looked so cute halloween night and had such a great time. The night before we were talking at dinner about how the next day was halloween. So halloween morning caleb comes over to our room very excited and chipper saying “Its halloween! I looked out the window to check if it was halloween and saw that its still dark, that’s how I know its halloween.” We tried to explain we don’t trick or treat until after dinner. But throughout the morning he’d come to me saying, “Mama, I’m ready for halloween now, can we do it now?” One time in tears saying something like “Mama, I want halloween to be today, not tomorrow!” Needless to say he finally understood, but it was so cute how excited he was about it.
He was quite chipper actually trick or treating too. Everyone kept saying “hi spiderman” to him and stuff like that. On the walk back home he excitedly said “everyone likes my costume, everyone likes my spiderman!” (oh btw, I found that costume at a yard sale for 1 dollar! I bought the red hat for a dollar and put that spider on it for him, since the mask didn’t come with the costume. Gotta love the bargains)
Alice had a good time too. She didn’t have quite the build up of anticipation that he did since I don’t think she remembers much about last year dressing up and trick or treating. But she was SO about being Princess Pea, and loved the costume that Emily sent her. That was Caseys when she was younger. Alice has been wearing it tons since. When we opened the box in the mail from Em, Alice exclaimed, “oooooh its so special! and its pink, I love pink. A pink princess for ME!!!” That girl is stinkin hilarious with the obsession with pink and princesses these days. She was completely thrilled to be going as a princess this year. And I think looked the part too! What a sweetie.

They look so cute, I would have emptied the whole candy bag if they came to my door
